GZAGG presents Publishing Punk at San Diego Central Library
Grrrl Zines A Go-Go will present a history of San Diego’s Punk culture from the 1970’s through the 1990’s via DIY (Do It Yourself), self published, small circulation zines. From music journalism to alternative life-styles and punk politics, we will get a first person, bottom-up perspective of one of San Diego’s ever thriving, underground movements. There will be a zine making workshop after the presentation, participants will create a group zine which will then be added the San Diego Public Library’s new zine collection! Vegan and traditional pastries will be provided by Donut Panic.
