DIY, TO GO! DIY Publishing and the Projet MOBILVRE-BOOKMOBILE Project
World Beat Center, Balboa Park, San Diego
A day of zines, comix, and artist’s books at the World Beat Center with workshops, readings, and tabling with both local and out of town creators. Highlight was the curated collection of zines, comix, and artist’s books of the Bookmobile Project parked outside in the customized Airstream trailer, on tour across the country. Organized and hosted by GZAGG, with assistance from San Diego Indy Media. This event happened during a county-wide wildfire event – this photo was taken midday, not in the evening – the specks are ash (though the fire was nowhere near us).
